7月~8月の2ヶ月間に渡った横浜センター南の美容室、Loungeでの展示が終了いたしました。

お越しいただきました皆さま、ご覧いただきました皆さま、ありがとうございました！

 

今回の展示は目黒学芸大学駅そばのhair club parisのオーナーでもある下岡さんからの2度目のお声がけにより開催することができました。

 

1度目は2023年に東京ビッグサイトのイベントに出展している際に下岡さんと出会い、hair club parisで展示をさせていただくことになりました。その頃はまだ自動車免許も持っていなかったので大荷物をタクシーに乗せて設営に向かいました。その時の設営でB0サイズの写真（5枚目）を飾るのにサイズが大き過ぎてもたついていた僕にさっと手を貸していただいたことをよく覚えています。

 

今回の展示ではタテの長さが220cmあるものや120×80cmと大きな作品もあったのですが、それらを事前に測らせていただいた寸法を元にレイアウトを組み、全て車に積み込んで4時間程かけて設営を完了させました。

 

3年前の自分では今回のほとんどの工程が今回のようにスムーズには進まなかっただろうなと思うと、少しは成長できているのかなと安心した部分もあります。そんなこんなもあり最近は多くの出来事と経験がありがたく思えます。

 

さて！

作品もお買い上げいただき、次の目標に向かって計画と歩みを進めているところです。またの催しの際にも楽しんでいただけるよう引き続き精進してまいります！

— Exhibition at Lounge Has Ended —

My two-month exhibition at Lounge, a hair salon in Center-Minami, Yokohama, has come to an end.

 

Thank you so much to everyone who came by and everyone who took the time to see my work!

 

This exhibition was made possible thanks to a second invitation from Shimooka-san, the owner of hair club paris, a hair salon near Gakugei-Daigaku Station in Meguro.

 

The first time we met was in 2023, when I was exhibiting at an event at Tokyo Big Sight. That encounter led to my first exhibition at hair club paris.

At the time, I didn’t even have a driver’s license, so I loaded all my work and equipment into a taxi and headed over to set everything up. I still clearly remember struggling to hang a B0-sized photograph (the fifth image) because of its large size, when Shimooka-san quickly stepped in and gave me a hand.

 

For this exhibition, I had several large works, including pieces measuring 220 cm in height and others measuring 120 × 80 cm. Based on the measurements I was able to take in advance, I planned the layout, loaded everything into my car, drove for about four hours, and completed the installation.

 

Looking back, I feel that three years ago, I probably wouldn’t have been able to handle most of this process as smoothly as I did this time. Realizing that made me feel that maybe I’ve grown a little along the way.

With that in mind, I’ve recently found myself feeling grateful for the many things that happen and all the experiences I get to have.

 

And now!

Some of my works have found new homes, and I’m currently making plans and taking steps toward my next goal. I’ll continue working hard so that I can bring you something enjoyable to experience at future exhibitions and events.
